    Mini Projects

    Mini projects are specially designed for the 1st to 3rd year of B.Tech and B.Sc /pass out students to make them skilled enough so that they can carry out research work by themselves.

    Major Projects

    Major projects are mainly designed for M.Tech, M.Sc&M.Phil final year students/pass outs. Especially major project students are handed over independent research tittle to work on. Moreover, Ph.D student’s research work can also be done at TRI Biotech.

    Specialized workshops

    Specialized workshops will be often conducted on latest research techniques in biotechnology and the notification will be displayed on the website. The duration of the workshops varies from 1-15 days based on the programs offered.

    Salary: Rs. 60,000.00 to 84,000.00/- year (Negotiable)

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    While a research assistant is expected to contribute in many ways to the research project, typical responsibilities include the following:

    • Conduct literature reviews

    • Collect and analyze data

    • Perform laboratory experiments

    • Prepare materials for article/review paper, reports, and presentations

    • Maintain accurate records

    • Provide ready access to all experimental data for the faculty researcher and/or supervisor

    • Request or acquire equipment or supplies necessary for the project

    • Manage and respond to project related email

    • Supervise project/ training students working on the research project (maintaining records on assignment completion, acting as mediator between the project students and the faculty researcher)

    • Attend area seminars and other meetings as necessary

    • Summarize project results

    • Prepare progress reports for the PI and funding agency
